Design inspired by Moonstone. Moonstone represents inner clarity, cyclical change, and a connection to the feminine. It is a symbol of light and hope and also encourages us to embrace new beginnings. It is closely linked to themes of femininity such as fertility, balance, softness, and intuition. Moonstone is a gem variety of orthoclase feldspar and clarity ranges from transparent to opaque. It is usually colourless but can also be found in white, grey, peach, green and brown. Due to its crystalline structure, it displays schiller or adularescence (a shimmer that moves as the stone is moved).
The finest moonstones are found mainly in Sri Lanka and Southern India. Other varieties occur Australia, Armenia, Mexico, Brazil, and the United States
